Android Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop native Android applications using Java and Kotlin for mobility projects

• Engage in ongoing Android projects

• Utilize Android Studio and its tools

• Make API calls using Retrofit 2

• Employ Git and GitFlow for version control

• Work with the native player and manage its lifecycle

• Configure builds with Gradle and manage flavors

• Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality mobile solutions

• Participate in mobility solutions from the app concept to its release on the stores

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a native Android application developer

• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin within the MVP architecture

• Familiarity with Android Studio and its associated tools

• Experience making API calls using Retrofit 2

• Knowledge of Git and GitFlow

• Understanding of the native player and its lifecycle

• Desirable: experience in AndroidTV development

• Desirable: knowledge of Google Play Services and Google Assistant

• Desirable: experience with analytics/metrics SDKs such as Adobe, Comscore, or Firebase Analytics

• Desirable: familiarity with AdServers like SpotX, Ooyala, Freewheel, or SmartAdServer

• Desirable: experience in video or audio advertising

• Desirable: configuration of builds using Gradle and flavors

• Desirable: knowledge of RX, Dagger, dependency injection, and Jetpack

• Desirable: experience in developing for media platforms
