Senior Mobile Developer, AI-Enabled

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of intricate mobile features.

• Develop and deploy React Native functionalities for both iOS and Android platforms.

• Engage in the development of sophisticated mobile applications, addressing integration points, scalability issues, and structural enhancements.

• Participate in code reviews and strive to elevate the quality standards within the team.

• Incorporate AI tools (such as Copilot and ChatGPT) into the engineering processes.

• Contribute to front-end development using Angular or back-end development with Node.js/NestJS/Next.js.

• Design and create APIs while maintaining a strong understanding of REST principles.

• Decompose complex technical challenges and offer insightful recommendations.

• Mentor fellow developers and aid in fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally 5-8 years of experience in software development.

• Proven experience in creating and launching React Native applications for both iOS and Android.

• Proficient in TypeScript.

• Substantial experience with at least one of the following: Angular (frontend) or Node.js/NestJS/Next.js (backend).

• Solid understanding of REST APIs, system design principles, and the interaction of mobile clients with backend services.

• Effective communicator, comfortable collaborating across various disciplines with product, design, and engineering teams.
