Senior Mobile App Engineer – React Native, iOS, Android

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create mobile applications using React Native, along with native SDKs for iOS and Android BLE devices.

• Design and execute user experience workflows tailored for participants in clinical trials and patients using at-home diagnostics.

• Take ownership of user experience, app performance, reliability, and observability for the applications and features developed.

• Collaborate with the Devices team, Platform teams, and product designers to enhance integrated mobile app functionalities.

• Contribute to shaping the roadmap and technical strategy for the mobile platform.

• Develop an in-app feature that assesses EEG signal quality prior to data capture.

• Enhance the reliability of BLE pairing and reconnection on both iOS and Android platforms.

• Optimize the onboarding process for patients and trial participants.

• Implement features that assist Clinical Operations in monitoring compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in mobile development, specifically in native iOS/Android and/or React Native.

• Proficient in BLE, sensor integration, or health data streams.

• Possess a product-oriented mindset with a keen focus on user experience, edge cases, and performance metrics.

• Familiar with TypeScript, React Native, Swift, Kotlin, Expo, and GitHub.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, asynchronous work environment.
