Senior Millwork Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Gather, calculate, and compile data for conceptual and bid proposal estimates.

• Prepare standard estimates under general oversight.

• Ensure that quantity surveys and pricing are precise and comprehensive.

• Aid in the development of bidding strategies by debriefing sales personnel on job elements.

• Oversee project documentation management and convey decisions to sales and operations teams.

• Attend pre-bid meetings to discuss project details and scope.

• Engage in bid closings and estimate evaluations.

• Manage workload and assignments to adhere to deadlines.

• Conduct value analysis studies providing cost-effective alternatives to proposed scopes.

• Handle post-bid action items and finalize ISEC scope.

• Calculate cost estimates for materials, purchased equipment, subcontracted work, production activities, requirements, and labor.

• Contribute to the development and mentoring of Level 1 and 2 employees.

• May assist with recruitment and performance evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred qualification).

• Must meet all Minimum Qualifications of Estimator I and II.

• High level of strategy and proactive involvement to effectively advance projects through estimating.

• Familiarity with ISEC products, services, processes, and projects.

• Exposure to multiple or larger projects with increased scope and complexity.

• Capacity for independent decision-making.

• Ability to work completely autonomously.

• Capability to direct activities and provide recommendations and solutions.

• Proven problem-solving skills and sound judgment.

• Ability to assist in the development and mentoring of Level 1 and 2 employees.

• May supervise multiple direct reports.

• May support hiring and performance evaluations.

• Strong customer service, accountability, follow-up, communication skills, and a positive demeanor.

• Advanced knowledge of ISEC products, services, processes, and projects.
