This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Act as Acadia’s primary scientific expert in the field and a trusted partner for healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders (KOLs).

• Ensure launch excellence and manage product lifecycle by engaging key stakeholders, generating actionable insights, and identifying opportunities to enhance patient care and access.

• Develop and nurture strategic relationships with national and regional experts in rare pediatric neurological diseases, fostering long-term scientific partnerships and collaboration opportunities.

• Facilitate scientific exchanges regarding Acadia’s marketed products and pipeline assets, providing fair, balanced, and compliant medical information to external stakeholders.

• Identify, initiate, and drive impactful medical collaborations, including investigator-initiated studies (IIS), publications, educational initiatives, and speaker development programs.

• Plan, lead, and implement scientific advisory boards, expert meetings, symposia, and educational programs, ensuring meaningful scientific exchange and engagement with stakeholders.

• Represent Acadia at national and international congresses and scientific meetings, proactively identifying scientific trends, emerging data, and partnership opportunities, while communicating insights to internal stakeholders.

• Collect, analyze, and convey actionable field insights related to clinical practice, unmet needs, emerging evidence, competitor activities, and stakeholder perspectives to inform medical strategy and evidence generation.

• Collaborate with Medical Affairs leadership and patient advocacy organizations to promote disease awareness, education, and patient-centered initiatives across Germany.

• Provide timely, accurate, and compliant responses to unsolicited medical information inquiries.

• Deliver impactful medical training and ongoing scientific support to cross-functional teams, enhancing disease knowledge, clinical understanding, and strategic execution.

• Work closely with Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Clinical Development, and international Medical Affairs teams to ensure aligned and compliant execution of strategic objectives, demonstrating ownership, adaptability, and a proactive, hands-on approach within a dynamic and expanding organization.

• Maintain in-depth expertise in the rare disease and neuroscience landscape, continuously monitoring treatment paradigms, clinical guidelines, emerging therapies, and stakeholder needs while upholding the highest standards of medical governance.


⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced scientific or medical degree or a related field is required; the ideal candidate will possess 2-4 years of relevant industry experience, including 1-2 years in field-based MSL roles in CNS/neuroscience or rare diseases.

• Demonstrated ability to present complex scientific data clearly and effectively.

• Highly organized, self-motivated, and quick to learn, with the capacity to work independently and manage competing priorities efficiently.

• Collaborative, adaptable, and entrepreneurial, valuing diverse perspectives and thriving in cross-cultural teams within a fast-growing organization.

• Willingness to travel up to 70%, including participation in international Medical Affairs meetings, team meetings, and attendance at both national and international congresses.
