
Senior Medical Science Liaison - Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Serve as the main medical contact within the designated geographic region.
• Maintain a strong clinical and scientific knowledge base in oncology, particularly in locally advanced prostate cancer and other solid tumors.
• Facilitate compliant scientific discussions regarding the client’s product pipeline.
• Comprehend clinical protocols, trial outcomes, and associated procedures.
• Create and monitor KOL engagement strategies while nurturing collaborative relationships.
• Interact with medical and scientific communities, including advisory boards.
• Oversee and develop the assigned territory.
• Manage clinical program inquiries and unsolicited information requests.
• Provide support for clinical-trial sites and investigators in cooperation with R&D.
• Conduct pre-launch KOL profiling and analyze key accounts/institutions.
• Work alongside commercial colleagues to enhance account engagement.
• Record unsolicited requests and supply internal teams with KOL insights and feedback.
• Represent the client at medical conferences and prepare congress reports.
• Adhere to corporate SOPs and comply with legal and regulatory standards.
• Offer medical assistance, clinical input, and training for internal teams.
• Present information on product science, clinical data, outcomes, economic factors, and value to healthcare practitioners, formulary members, and payers.
• An advanced degree is required, such as PharmD, PhD, MD, MSN, or NP/PA.
• For MSL positions, a minimum of 2 years of previous MSL experience is required.
• MSL applicants should have at least 1 year of experience in oncology and/or immunology.
• Familiarity with viral immunotherapy and gene therapy is necessary.
• For Senior MSL roles, a minimum of 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
• Senior MSL candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in rare diseases, oncology, and/or immunology.
• Experience in genitourinary oncology is highly preferred.
• Prior experience with product launches is essential.
• Strong scientific, business, and clinical insight is necessary.
• Exceptional communication and networking abilities are required.
• Capability to analyze and present scientific data to KOLs is essential.
• Working knowledge of prostate cancer treatment standards is necessary.
• Familiarity with NCCN Guidelines, NCI Cooperative Groups, and Oncology Research Consortiums is required.
• Ability to present complex scientific, value, and evidence data to payers and/or formulary committees is necessary.
• Familiarity with institutions and clinics in the specified geographic areas is important.
• Willingness to travel to medical meetings and congresses as needed.
• Compliance with corporate SOPs and relevant legal and regulatory standards is mandatory.
