This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +7 more states.
• Lead strategic outreach efforts to contractors, subcontractors, owners, architects, and public agencies to gather non-public commercial construction project intelligence.
• Articulate Dodge’s value proposition and promote the sharing of project information.
• Assist in demonstrating Dodge tools and showcasing data capabilities.
• Build and maintain ongoing relationships with industry stakeholders.
• Identify and expand project sources within the designated territory.
• Oversee a pipeline of active projects while acquiring new opportunities.
• Enhance sourcing strategies based on identified coverage gaps, prospects, and data quality issues.
• Analyze and interpret construction documents, client communications, and project data.
• Enter, classify, update, and maintain project information in Dodge systems.
• Investigate and resolve complex data discrepancies while documenting verification steps.
• Identify root causes of data quality issues and implement corrective measures.
• Provide feedback on source behavior, project trends, and workflow challenges.
• Meet defined performance goals while balancing productivity, quality, and strategic priorities.
• Address customer inquiries and collaborate with Account Management and Customer Success teams.
• Contribute to enhancements in outreach strategies, data collection methods, and team practices.
• Report to the Manager, Construction Information.
• Candidates must reside in one of the following states: NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, MS, TN, LA, AR, OH, or IN.
• Expected travel up to 10%.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred in Business, Communications, Construction Management, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience demonstrating expertise in outreach, data collection, and knowledge of the commercial construction industry.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in roles involving outreach, research, customer engagement, or data operations.
• At least 3 years of experience in the commercial construction industry.
• Strong comprehension of the construction ecosystem and project lifecycle.
• Capability to analyze data, identify patterns and trends, diagnose issues, and recommend solutions.
• Proficient in analyzing source funnels and conversion rates, and presenting findings to leadership.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence participation, collect nuanced information, and adapt messaging effectively.
• Competence in conveying the value proposition for sharing project data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Capability to learn and utilize Dodge tools and systems.
• Ability to guide sources through product demonstrations, including via screen-sharing.
• High attention to detail and precision in data entry and reporting.
• Familiarity with construction project data, plan rooms, or bid management platforms is preferred.
• Familiarity with the local or regional market is preferred.
• Understanding of commercial construction project phases, bid processes, and industry terminology is preferred.
• Experience in a performance-driven environment is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must successfully pass a background check after a conditional job offer.
