
Senior Medical Science Liaison, Immunology – Dermatology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Create and execute a scientific engagement strategy for the Northern New Jersey region.
• Facilitate high-quality, interactive scientific discussions with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs).
• Establish and nurture relationships with community and academic healthcare professionals as well as key opinion leaders.
• Utilize MSL tools, insights, and AI technologies to enhance customer engagement and maximize medical impact.
• Assess provider educational needs and deliver customized, scientifically sound responses.
• Convey intricate clinical evidence through clear and effective scientific dialogue and presentations.
• Gather, synthesize, and disseminate actionable insights to inform medical strategies and cross-functional planning.
• Assist investigators and internal stakeholders for both company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies.
• Address unsolicited research and clinical inquiries with objective, compliant information.
• Implement Medical Affairs strategy and MSL priorities while adapting to changing data and organizational needs.
• Collaborate in a compliant manner with MSL field colleagues, R&D, US and Global Medical Affairs, clinical operations, Sales, and Marketing.
• Maintain scientific knowledge through self-study, journal clubs, seminars, congresses, and peer discussions.
• Promote inclusion and belonging within both internal and external communities.
• Stay informed on regulatory, healthcare compliance, corporate conduct, Medical Affairs SOPs, and guidelines.
• Create a performance and development plan and undertake leadership projects with the direct manager.
• Fulfill administrative duties, including expense reports and activity documentation.
• A doctorate-level degree or equivalent experience is required, such as PharmD, PhD, MD, or Advanced Practice Provider qualification.
• Postgraduate experience is required for doctoral-level candidates, with a preference for therapeutic clinical experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, including a proven track record as an MSL.
• Strong scientific and therapeutic knowledge.
• Skills in research, data analysis, clinical expertise, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to cover a defined territory with up to 70% travel.
• Must possess a valid US Driver’s License.
• Knowledge or experience in the relevant therapeutic area.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot, computers, and remote technologies.
• A commitment to learning and applying emerging technologies such as AI.
• Relevant clinical, research, or pharmaceutical work experience.
• Residency or fellowship is preferred.
• Capacity to operate within regulatory, healthcare compliance, corporate conduct, and Medical Affairs SOP requirements.
