
Senior Medical Science Liaison, Health Systems & Payer Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the scientific authority in Medical Affairs for stakeholders including payers, health systems, IDNs, PBMs, specialty pharmacies, medical directors, and pharmacy leadership.
• Design and implement strategic engagement plans for payers and health systems.
• Facilitate comprehensive medical-to-medical discussions on disease states, clinical findings, real-world evidence, health economics, outcomes, treatment pathways, guidelines, unmet needs, and access-related factors.
• Address unsolicited medical and scientific inquiries from payer and health-system stakeholders.
• Gather and relay actionable insights regarding payer evidence requirements, formulary considerations, utilization management, and access challenges.
• A terminal scientific or clinical degree is required (PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, Medical Affairs, field medical, HEOR, payer strategy, market access, or health-system engagement is required.
• Proven experience in engaging with payers, health systems, IDNs, PBMs, medical directors, pharmacy leadership, formulary committees, specialty pharmacies, or population health stakeholders is required.
• A strong grasp of U.S. payer dynamics, formulary decision-making, utilization management, medical and pharmacy benefit management, specialty pharmacy, patient access, population health, value-based care, evidence interpretation, and compliant scientific communication.
• A demonstrated ability to convey complex scientific, clinical, health economics, and outcomes information clearly, accurately, credibly, and in compliance with regulations to senior healthcare decision-makers.
