This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Cultivate and sustain long-term strategic scientific partnerships with key opinion leaders, investigators, healthcare professionals, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Formulate and implement strategic engagement strategies for key opinion leaders, investigators, and priority accounts within the designated territory.
• Discover new investigators, clinical sites, and opportunities for scientific engagement.
• Facilitate balanced, non-promotional scientific dialogues and deliver scientific presentations alongside medical education.
• Accurately interpret and convey complex clinical and scientific information to diverse audiences.
• Collect, analyze, document, and share actionable medical insights and competitive intelligence.
• Provide support for local, regional, and national scientific meetings through engagement, scientific exchange, insight gathering, and congress coverage.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Translational Medicine, Medical Communications, Regulatory, and other internal teams.
• Offer scientific support for clinical development, research activities, investigators, and clinical trial sites.
• Participate in scientific discussions regarding Cyclin E1 biomarker testing, its clinical significance, and patient identification for ongoing clinical trials.
• Assist or lead local, regional, and national scientific advisory boards.
• Act as the Medical Affairs liaison for investigator-sponsored trials.
• Direct assigned Field Medical projects and contribute to broader team initiatives.
• Maintain expertise in scientific and therapeutic areas through professional development and review of emerging clinical data.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of field activities.
• A Master’s degree or an advanced clinical/scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, DO, NP, PA) is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or related life sciences is necessary.
• At least 3 years of experience as an MSL or in a similar Field Medical role is essential.
• Oncology experience is highly preferred.
• Capacity to independently interpret and communicate complex scientific and clinical data accurately, clearly, and in a balanced, evidence-based manner.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to establish and sustain credible scientific relationships with key opinion leaders, investigators, and healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in independently developing and executing strategic engagement plans.
• Strong working knowledge of GCP, FDA regulations, Medical Affairs compliance requirements, and relevant industry guidelines.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% regionally and occasionally internationally.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to safely operate a vehicle for clinical-site visits.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Up to 60% regional travel and limited international travel.
• Compensation range of $180,000 - $220,000.
