Senior Mechatronics Engineer – Freelancer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop intricate electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems for automotive and robotics initiatives.

• Produce and uphold mechanical documentation and specifications.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance designs for manufacturability and reliability.

• Participate in hands-on activities with robotic systems and associated technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience with integrated software and hardware systems, including autonomous vehicles, robotics, automotive, or aerospace products.

• Proven experience in designing complex electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems from inception to production, focusing on scalability and cost efficiency.

• Practical experience with linear and rotary actuators.

• Skilled in designing machined parts, weldments, sheet metal components, and mechanical assemblies.

• Proficient in creating and maintaining comprehensive mechanical documentation, including GD&T, tolerances, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

• Experience in selecting, designing, and integrating sensors into sophisticated systems.

• Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, with emphasis on Design for Manufacturing (DfM), reliability, and cost optimization.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficiency in English (B2/C1).
