Senior Mechanical Construction Estimator – Data Centers

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create detailed and precise cost estimates for electrical systems within construction projects.

• Examine project plans and specifications to identify the scope of work and necessary materials.

• Work collaboratively with project teams to formulate comprehensive cost management strategies.

• Assess project requirements and suggest value engineering alternatives.

• Conduct cost risk assessments and contribute to value engineering discussions.

• Engage and collaborate with clients, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Employ industry-specific estimating software and tools to generate estimates.

• Offer estimating advice, support, and analysis to project stakeholders.

• Stay informed about the latest industry-specific estimating processes and methodologies.

• Compile formal estimating reports, detailing quantities, costs, escalation, and other assumptions and clarifications.

• Assist in the formulation of estimating standards and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field in construction.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of pertinent experience.

• Excels in a client-facing capacity.

• Experience in supporting program-level cost management for medium to large-scale construction projects.

• Strong understanding of electrical systems and technical aspects of the construction industry.
