This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Develop an analytical methodology that aligns with the safety classification of components and the relevant regulatory and standards framework.
• Confirm assumptions and findings in collaboration with development leads.
• Design and populate finite element models.
• Conduct mechanical calculations for various static and dynamic load scenarios.
• Assist in validating design assumptions for equipment.
• Post-process and interpret the results obtained.
• Prepare comprehensive calculation reports.
• A degree in engineering (or equivalent) with a focus on mechanical specialization.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the energy sector, naval industry, specialized machinery, or generally with large, intricate mechanical systems.
• Proven experience in structural analysis is essential.
• Additional expertise in vibration analysis, fluid/CFD analysis, or piping flexibility analysis is advantageous.
• Mandatory proficiency in at least one major analysis software (such as Ansys, Abaqus, Robot, PipeStress, etc.); preference will be given to candidates with Ansys experience.
• Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
