Senior Mechanical BIM Engineer, Fluent English Speaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Conduct functional and technical testing of BIM software to ensure its quality, precision, and dependability.

• Assess software features against engineering specifications and BIM industry benchmarks.

• Detect, document, and report software issues in partnership with the Development team.

• Offer technical assistance and resolve software-related challenges.

• Execute product demonstrations, customer onboarding activities, and technical training sessions.

• Create and update user manuals, training resources, and technical documentation.

• Collect customer feedback and relay enhancement suggestions to the Product and Development teams.

• Validate BIM workflows and confirm alignment with Autodesk Revit standards and engineering practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.

• At least 7 years of professional experience in Mechanical Engineering, particularly in BIM.

• Advanced skills in Autodesk Revit MEP and practical experience with BIM projects.

• Comprehensive understanding of BIM methodologies, coordination processes, standards, and Revit Families.

• Experience in software testing, validation, quality assurance, or troubleshooting engineering software is highly desirable.

• Previous background in technical support, product demonstrations, customer onboarding, or technical training.

• Exceptional English communication abilities, with fluency in spoken English.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and client-facing capabilities.

• Experience with Fire Protection design and NFPA standards is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, Dynamo, or collaboration with software development teams is a plus.
