This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate system requirements, architectures, models, designs, and release/deployment plans.
• Assess operational and functional baselines as well as supporting systems.
• Document system architecture and designs by analyzing requirements and creating workflow charts, diagrams, and specifications.
• Develop and enhance application development and maintenance standards.
• Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Implement lifecycle systems engineering practices for the Maximo Application Suite, OpenShift, and Oracle infrastructure.
• Ensure MAS 9 complies with security requirements necessary to obtain and retain a DHS Authority to Operate.
• Administer Maximo in a highly available, secure environment.
• Maintain system protocols, architecture, requirements, and design documentation.
• Support configuration management, quality assurance, and cybersecurity throughout the release cycle in a DevSecOps environment.
• Develop action plans and remediate findings from security assessments.
• Install, configure, support, and maintain MAS 9, Red Hat OpenShift, and Oracle infrastructure.
• Meet performance metrics defined in Service Level Agreements and Statements of Work.
• Plan and execute patches, hotfixes, upgrades, and other maintenance activities.
• Resolve issues through root cause analysis, remediation, and reporting.
• Develop reports utilizing Maximo Business Intelligence Reporting (BIRT) and Cognos Analytics.
• Provide system training to end users and system owners.
• Assist the IT Service Desk and troubleshoot end-user issues, including direct telephone support.
• Gather business requirements and perform software development, testing, and implementation of IBM Maximo components and modules.
• Document user requirements along with functional and technical specifications.
• Identify system enhancements by analyzing workflows and designs.
• Plan, implement, and test Maximo enhancements and improvements.
• Support new Maximo functionality, version upgrades, and new modules.
• Develop and troubleshoot Maximo Integration Framework integrations.
• US Citizen.
• Capable of obtaining DHS or TSA vetting; active vetting preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 10–15 years of professional experience; direct experience may replace education on a one-for-one basis.
• Ability to collaborate as part of an integrated team while maintaining self-discipline.
• Strong focus on mission and direct customer support.
• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift, Maximo Application Suite 9, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Cognos, Maximo Integration Framework, Oracle Enterprise and Standard Databases, and AWS infrastructure/platform services.
• Experience in a FedRAMP or other secured Cloud environment.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining a high-security IT environment.
• Experience in installing, supporting, and maintaining IBM Maximo Application Suite.
• Experience in installing, supporting, and maintaining Red Hat OpenShift.
• Flexibility to adjust schedule to meet program needs; some evening and weekend work required.
• TSA Suitability Determination.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: experience in installing, supporting, and maintaining Oracle databases.
• Preferred: involvement in mobile and desktop application development.
• Preferred: existing Public Trust or Security Clearance.
• Preferred: AWS experience.
• AWS certification is a plus.
