Senior Marketing Specialist – Patient Recruitment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the strategy and execution of paid media across essential channels such as Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, Reddit, and programmatic platforms (DSPs), with full accountability for performance and return on investment (ROI).

• Proactively advises on channel mix, budget distribution, and expenditure levels based on study demand, historical data, and enrollment objectives.

• Continuously evaluates campaign performance metrics (CPL, conversion rates, randomization yield) and optimizes in real-time to enhance efficiency and results.

• Aligns marketing strategies with recruitment needs at the study level, identifying trials that may face under-enrollment and implementing targeted advertising strategies.

• Collaborates closely with site teams and recruitment operations to design, test, and execute customized recruitment plans for key studies.

• Oversees the complete patient acquisition process, including ad creative, landing pages, prescreeners, and follow-up procedures to maximize conversion and enrollment.

• Utilizes AI tools and data-driven insights to improve targeting, creative development, and funnel performance.

• Creates scalable playbooks and best practices for patient recruitment across various indications and channels.

• Mentors and supports junior marketing team members, offering guidance on campaign strategy, execution, and performance analysis.

• Assists with broader marketing initiatives such as website updates, collateral creation, and community outreach as required.

• Ensures strict compliance with best practices, FDA Code of Federal Regulations, ICH (International Conference on Harmonization), GCP (Good Clinical Practices), CenExel standard operating procedures, site working practices, protocol, and company guidelines and policies.

• Takes on additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 4–6+ years of experience in managing paid media campaigns, showcasing success in optimizing these campaigns for ROI and performance objectives.

• Extensive knowledge of digital advertising platforms: Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, Reddit; experience with DSP/programmatic buying is highly preferred.

• Strong grasp of the patient recruitment lifecycle, which includes prescreeners, landing page optimization, and conversion funnel management.

• Proven capability to interpret data into actionable strategies, particularly in budget allocation and performance optimization.

• Experience in clinical research, healthcare marketing, or patient recruitment is highly preferred.

• Ability to function both strategically and hands-on in campaign execution.

• Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (sites, operations, recruitment).

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
