This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the W&D and endoscopy reprocessing markets throughout EMEA, encompassing customer segmentation, clinical workflows, pricing trends, tender environments, and go-to-market strategies.
• Take ownership of the regional go-to-market strategy for W&D and detergent portfolios, ensuring effective positioning, clear value propositions, and unique messaging across various markets.
• Serve as the EMEA expert regarding the competitive landscape, possessing in-depth knowledge of competitors’ products, claims, positioning, strengths, and weaknesses, and converting insights into actionable strategies.
• Identify, engage, and cultivate long-lasting relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), professional societies, and clinical influencers to promote advocacy, education, and guideline influence.
• Define and implement regional market-entry and growth strategies that encompass the complete marketing mix, including portfolio positioning, pricing strategies, channels, tenders, and promotional efforts.
• Act as the primary point of contact for EMEA with Global Product Management, ensuring that portfolio, lifecycle, and innovation decisions align with regional market realities and customer needs.
• Lead the tactical components of product launches, including product positioning, content creation, sales tools, press releases, and social media strategies, ensuring robust cross-functional launch readiness.
• Collaborate across functions to guarantee timely and successful product launches.
• Develop relevant, engaging, and compelling multi-channel content that aligns with overarching marketing strategies, campaign goals, and product-specific value propositions.
• Assist in the creation of customer and sales training materials to inform internal teams and clients about products, their clinical value, and associated services.
• Monitor, analyze, and interpret relevant performance metrics and analytics, recommending initiatives or adjustments based on findings.
• Clearly and proactively communicate business-relevant issues, risks, and opportunities to regional and global leadership.
• Influence effectively within a matrix organization, driving alignment and execution without direct authority.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in the Washing & Disinfection (W&D) sector (e.g., detergents, AERs, disinfectants).
• Demonstrated experience in a regional marketing management position; prior sales experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership and influencing abilities, evidenced by experience managing teams and/or leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a matrix organization while influencing across various functions and regions.
• Solid analytical skills, capable of interpreting data and translating insights into actionable strategies.
• Experience in budget management, including planning, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial targets.
• Ability to operate in a global context, with a willingness to travel across the EMEA region (up to 30%).
• Proficiency in English is essential; additional European language skills are advantageous.
• Knowledge of infection prevention, microbiology, disinfection, sterilization, and device processing is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-focused and customer-oriented environment.
• Proven capability to independently manage complex projects with a high level of ownership and minimal supervision.
• Experience in creating marketing content, communication tools, and commercial materials.
• Customer-centric perspective with a strong grasp of market needs and dynamics.
• Adaptability and flexibility to excel in a dynamic environment with limited resources.
