This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Develop technical marketing specifications and accompanying documentation for designated product families, including Product Data Sheets (PDS) and technical marketing content.
• Create and manage customer-facing technical materials that effectively communicate product features, applications, and specifications.
• Assist in the preparation and upkeep of datasheets, glossary documentation, application notes, and white papers to enhance product comprehension.
• Update and maintain Fuseology tools, fuse selection guidelines, derating data, and time-current curve information for both low and high voltage product lines.
• Support benchmark studies and competitive analysis initiatives for pertinent product categories.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Business Development teams to ensure product readiness in line with Go-To-Market strategy roadmaps.
• Provide technical training to FAEs, Sales teams, and other internal stakeholders regarding product families and application examples.
• Define and coordinate the availability of technical toolkits and sample kits to facilitate customer engagement and sales efforts.
• Engage in international industry committees and standards organizations (e.g., ISO, IEC, VDA) to advocate for relevant fuse and protection standards.
• Assist in customer meetings alongside Sales and FAEs by offering technical expertise and application guidance.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing and digital teams to aid in the development of technical content for websites and promotional initiatives.
• Review and oversee technical documentation and specifications to ensure they align with business objectives and customer needs.
• Promote continuous improvement in the communication of technical information both internally and externally.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration across various global business units and functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant technical field.
• 5-7 years of experience in product design, applications engineering, technical marketing, or related roles involving electrical or electronic components.
• Experience in a global manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical/electronic products and their applications for customers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the capability to translate technical information into customer-friendly content.
• Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Experience in creating technical documentation such as datasheets, application notes, or white papers.
• Confident in working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, Sales, and Marketing teams.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of technical data analysis and presentation tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in an international, collaborative environment.
• Experience in supporting industry standards activities or participating in technical committees is a plus.
