This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee and direct assigned marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives for audience engagement.
• Formulate and execute plans aimed at growing and engaging key audiences, enhancing brand visibility, and supporting organizational goals.
• Create or oversee the development of persuasive written content, messaging, and storytelling for campaigns and communications.
• Collaborate with communications, philanthropy, conservation, and leadership teams to implement integrated marketing and communications strategies.
• Act as a strategic partner to internal teams and collaborators, refining approaches, clarifying objectives, and aligning projects with audience and brand strategies.
• Ensure that creative outputs align with organizational positioning, brand standards, and voice across various channels and materials.
• Manage designated budgets, assess results, and propose modifications or corrective strategies.
• Monitor performance and leverage insights to enhance audience engagement, campaign efficacy, and overall impact.
• Independently resolve intricate issues within the program area.
• May coordinate and manage budgets or oversee the daily operations of programs or projects.
• Potentially supervise professional and/or administrative personnel.
• Simplify complex or technical information into clear, engaging content suitable for diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with senior staff, Canadian teams, divisional and global teams, external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 7 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience in managing client and account relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and manage multiple complex projects.
• Experience in negotiating agreements.
• Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
• Preference for candidates with multicultural or cross-cultural experience.
• Experience in leading within a team-oriented environment alongside internal and/or external partners.
• Proven ability to translate strategic goals into audience-centered plans, content, and campaigns.
• Strong writing and editing skills for diverse audiences and formats.
• Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies, campaigns, and audience engagement initiatives.
• Ability to creatively conceive and write for various audiences, translating technical or complex information.
• Experience working collaboratively across marketing and communications functions.
• Background in supporting communications or marketing efforts that promote Indigenous rights relations, demonstrating cultural awareness, respect, and sound judgment.
• Practical understanding of current and emerging trends in marketing, audience engagement, digital channels, and content strategy.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas persuasively.
