This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead significant analytics and reporting projects, managing complex tasks to deliver precise, accessible, and repeatable business reports and insights to stakeholders at all levels.
• Possess extensive knowledge of the business and data landscape, including standardized reporting, experimentation, and analysis to support performance discussions across various channels.
• Proactively assist the business in leveraging data and insights to improve our capabilities in event management and enhance the effectiveness of our strategies. Provide analytics support, actionable insights, and recommendations to optimize and scale flagship events.
• Employ a customer/stakeholder-focused approach and user experience design best practices to ensure that data analysis is easily digestible through visualization, presentation, and storytelling.
• Collaborate with the technical team on requirements to ensure data availability, quality, transformations, and integrity for analytics and broader business self-service usage.
• Conduct data analysis using various data sets and sources. Lead discussions to interpret results and align them with relevant business context. Provide actionable recommendations to optimize business investments in a repeatable and scalable manner.
• Define, develop, and maintain performance metrics, dashboards, and analyses. Deliver relevant information in an automated, self-service, and efficient way to facilitate business optimization and tracking.
• Offer coaching and/or mentoring to other group members and serve as a data analytics lead.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or a related field AND 2+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting, data science, business intelligence, or business and financial analysis OR equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• 1+ years of experience utilizing SQL AND Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
• 1+ years of experience with Python and/or R for statistical analysis and data modeling is a plus.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Data Analytics tools and services or similar products/services.
• Ability to promote teamwork, analytical thinking, statistical knowledge, technical expertise, computer skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, mathematical skills, and project management skills.
• Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) applications in a marketing context is a plus.
