Senior Manufacturing Staff Manager – Material Plan & Execution

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate in the development and execution of processes related to readiness and capacity with suppliers of airfoils castings.

• Spearhead the implementation of processes with designated airfoils casting suppliers, ensuring timely execution and proactive issue resolution.

• Ensure comprehension of the current state and establish a plan to meet global requirements as demand escalates over a rolling three-year period.

• Create joint operating rhythms with key suppliers and set up technical and executive escalation pathways.

• Conduct thorough capability and capacity evaluations covering the entire supplier value stream.

• Coordinate capacity investments, including tooling/dies, furnaces/presses, and NDE assets.

• Work alongside S&OP and Program teams to convert demand signals into concrete capacity plans.

• Take ownership of capacity readiness concerning long-term forecasts.

• Relay supplier constraints to be integrated into S&OP rhythms to adapt to demand fluctuations.

• Develop and mentor a high-performing supplier readiness team with comprehensive knowledge of casting processes.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and data-informed decision-making.

• Enhance SQDC performance with an emphasis on OTD, FPY, lead time, overdue items, and cost compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

• At least 5 years of experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain, Operations, or Project Management.
