Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Sourced Hardware

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serving as the Manufacturing Engineering point of contact for the designated supplier base.

• Responsible for overseeing the technical performance of several suppliers, requiring frequent travel (25-50%).

• Proactively identifies obstacles to delivery and collaborates with fulfillment, commercial, and quality teams to resolve them.

• Acknowledged as a vital team member by suppliers or within the commodity area.

• Functions as a Project Manager for large, complex suppliers alongside colleagues.

• Provides guidance and influences supplier performance leveraging manufacturing expertise.

• Actively pursues cost reduction initiatives within the assigned supply base and engages proactively in tackling cost-related issues.

• Participates in supplier selection based on value considerations.

• Collaborates with commercial stakeholders to ensure that supplier selections yield the desired value.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED accompanied by a minimum of 8 years of experience in Manufacturing.

• At least 8 years of experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Production Management.

• Proficiency in programming or mechanically supporting both traditional and non-traditional machining methods.

• Expertise in sourcing, shop operations, or production control.

• Experience in Manufacturing within the Aerospace or Automotive sectors is a plus.
