This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain integration solutions and Epic Bridges interfaces.

• Provide support for HL7 real-time and conversion interfaces between Epic and ancillary healthcare systems.

• Diagnose interface issues, data inconsistencies, transmission failures, and workflow disruptions.

• Collaborate with clinical, operational, vendor, and technical teams to facilitate interoperability initiatives.

• Conduct interface testing, validation, upgrades, and manage change activities.

• Assist in post-Epic go-live stabilization and continuous optimization efforts.

• Monitor the performance of interfaces and proactively resolve integration challenges.

• Engage in workflow analysis and propose technical enhancements to boost operational efficiency.

• Maintain documentation for interfaces, support procedures, and technical specifications.

• Provide support for production issues, escalation of problems, and root cause analysis tasks.

• Ensure compliance with organizational integration standards, security protocols, and ITIL best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent blend of education and experience.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in interface development.

• At least 2 years of interface development experience in an Epic environment.

• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience with Epic Bridges.

• Proficient in designing, building, and supporting HL7 real-time interfaces.

• Epic certification in Interface Development is mandatory.

• Strong background in troubleshooting, integration, and workflow optimization.

• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional technical, operational, and clinical teams.

• Comprehensive understanding of healthcare interoperability standards and integration methods.

• Salary based on experience: $90,000 - $130,000
