This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Direct the execution of intricate, multi-workstream clinical quality and performance transformation projects, collaborating closely with hospital executive leadership to ensure alignment among clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders.
• Take ownership of comprehensive workplan execution, coordinating cross-functional teams and fostering accountability to achieve quantifiable clinical quality, operational, and financial results.
• Bring extensive expertise in acute care hospital operations and transformation, with a strong capacity to utilize EMR and performance data to inform decision-making and facilitate sustainable workflow changes.
• Convert strategic objectives into actionable, implementable solutions that can be operationalized by physicians, nursing leaders, and frontline staff.
• Develop and sustain trusted, collaborative relationships with physicians and clinical leaders to promote the adoption of evidence-based practices and consistent standards of care.
• Oversee implementation efforts in areas such as quality improvement, patient safety, infection prevention, sepsis, surgical quality, complications, mortality, readmissions, and performance scorecards.
• Advise hospitals on optimizing performance regarding national quality and public reporting programs, including CMS Care Compare and other regulatory and benchmarking frameworks.
• Assist with regulatory readiness and ongoing compliance concerning CMS, state health departments, and other oversight organizations.
• Interpret complex clinical, operational, and performance data into clear, actionable insights for C-suite leaders and governing bodies.
• Track progress against established metrics and scorecards, ensuring that initiatives yield sustained outcomes beyond the initial implementation.
• Build, lead, and mentor high-performing project teams, promoting strong collaboration, accountability, and results-driven orientation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior hospital and health system leaders, particularly in complex or resource-constrained settings.
• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in acute care or healthcare environments, with a significant focus on hospital operations, clinical quality, performance improvement, and transformation.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, or a related field.
• An advanced degree (MPH, MHA, MSN, MBA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPHQ, CIC, Lean/Six Sigma) are preferred.
• Proven experience in leading large-scale implementation initiatives, encompassing assessments and strategy design.
• Established ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing leaders, and executive teams to drive change and the adoption of evidence-based practices.
• Strong understanding of hospital operations, EMR systems, quality metrics, and performance scorecards.
• Experience in building, leading, and developing high-performing teams focused on patient outcomes, quality, and operational performance.
