Senior Manager – Wealth Investment & Portfolio Management Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Assemble and oversee a team of technology specialists.

• Take complete responsibility for the delivery and production management of portfolio modeling, rebalancing, trading, subscription, and financial data provider platforms.

• Implement delivery governance and agile methodologies; collaborate with Product Management as necessary to ensure alignment on priorities, scope, and results.

• Spearhead the development of the platform roadmap encompassing modernization, cloud readiness, and integration/API strategies.

• Provide technical guidance on architecture and integrations across OMS/EMS platforms, custodians/brokers, market data providers, and downstream reporting (APIs, messaging, streaming).

• Enhance the private investments technology stack, ensuring integration into portfolio management workflows (subscription/commitments, capital calls/distributions, valuations, Schedule K1s/documents, data onboarding).

• Manage and report on the stability/reliability and operational readiness of the platform: resilience, performance/latency, capacity, and recovery planning for market-hours workloads.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering integrated vendor and/or internally-developed trading/portfolio management platforms (order/execution management, market data, performance, private investments) from requirements/vendor selection through to implementation, cutover, and production support.

• Possess the technical expertise to evaluate designs, question assumptions, and make trade-offs concerning performance, resiliency, data quality, and security.

• Proficient in governing agile delivery, testing strategies, release/change processes, environments, observability, and incident/problem management (no daily coding required).

• 7–10+ years of experience in delivering and operating investment or trading-system technology, with a focus on production platforms and releases.

• 7–10+ years of experience in building, organizing, and leading technology teams (engineering, data, and/or integration), including responsibilities for hiring, performance management, and coaching.
