
Senior Manager – Wealth Investment & Portfolio Management Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Assemble and oversee a team of technology experts.
• Take full responsibility for the end-to-end delivery and operational ownership of platforms related to portfolio modeling, rebalancing, trading, subscription, and financial data providers.
• Implement delivery governance and agile work methodologies; collaborate with Product Management as necessary to align on priorities, scope, and results.
• Lead the development of the platform roadmap, focusing on modernization, cloud enablement, and integration/API strategies.
• Provide technical direction for architecture and integrations across OMS/EMS platforms, custodians/brokers, market data sources, and downstream reporting (APIs, messaging, streaming).
• Enhance the technology stack for private investments, integrating it into portfolio management workflows (subscription/commitments, capital calls/distributions, valuations, Schedule K1s/documents, data onboarding).
• Manage and report on the stability, reliability, and operational readiness of the platform: including resilience, performance/latency, capacity, and recovery planning for workloads during market hours.
• Experience in delivering integrated trading and portfolio management platforms (order/execution management, market data, performance, private investments) from the requirements/vendor selection phase through implementation, transition, and production support.
• Possess the technical expertise to evaluate designs, question assumptions, and make informed trade-offs concerning performance, resiliency, data quality, and security.
• Proficient in overseeing agile delivery, testing strategies, release/change management, environments, observability, and incident/problem management (no daily coding needed).
• 7–10+ years of experience in delivering and managing investment or trading system technologies, with a focus on production platforms and releases.
• 7–10+ years of experience in building, structuring, and leading technology teams (engineering, data, and/or integration), encompassing hiring, performance management, and coaching.
• Eligibility for incentive compensation, which may include production bonuses, commissions, and/or discretionary incentives.
