Senior Manager, UX

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and expand a global team of UX designers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity.

• Take ownership of the UX product strategy, considering the entire go-to-market funnel, encompassing marketing interactions, the Unity.com website layer, and the learning ecosystem.

• Supervise the design of user-friendly commerce workflows, managing how users and customers engage with purchases, entitlements, and product licensing.

• Hold UX ownership of the Asset Store, ensuring various asset components integrate seamlessly with other Unity products.

• Utilize design thinking to navigate complex systems and integrations, advocating for a cohesive experience across all touchpoints.

• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Commercial, Product, and Engineering leaders to ensure design objectives align with strategic business goals.

• Advocate for UX enhancements and innovative design solutions in an AI-driven landscape, ensuring Unity stays at the forefront of the industry.

• Significant experience in UX leadership, with a proven history of managing and expanding design teams globally.

• Capability to formulate a strategic perspective on connected experiences, looking beyond individual products to the entire ecosystem.

• Deep understanding of complex systems and integrations necessary for delivering a unified user experience.

• Exceptional collaborator with strong verbal, visual, and written communication skills; adept at leading design discussions and conducting reviews with senior leadership.

• Expertise in designing for commerce stacks, marketplaces, or licensing systems is highly regarded.

• An innate curiosity for technology and a passion for enabling creativity through innovative tools.
