📋 Description

• Possess strong technical expertise in comprehending requirements, designing effective solutions, and delivering high-quality results in alignment with market standards using IBM AppConnectEnterprise and IBM API Connect products.

• Responsible for the installation, configuration, deployment, administration, and monitoring of IBM API Connect in both Cloud and On-Premises Virtual Machines.

• Oversee the health of the IBM API Connect environment to guarantee optimal performance and availability of APIs.

• Engage in and lead incident resolution discussions as necessary to facilitate root cause analysis of issues.

• Examine logs to detect problems within the IBM API Connect environment.

• Set up and execute backup and restoration processes for IBM API Connect subsystems.

• Manage backup and restoration of IBM API Connect configuration data.

• Sustain the CI/CD pipeline for building and deploying APIs within IBM API Connect.

• Utilize the API Management Portal to oversee the lifecycle of APIs across various API Catalogs.

• Conduct consumer maintenance tasks, including the creation of users, groups, roles, and security configurations.

• Implement changes to the IBM API Connect Developer Portal through administrative menus to adjust portal configurations and Drupal themes, as well as execute various content modifications for aesthetics.

• Enable third-party tools, such as Elastic, to capture analytics events for customer dashboards.

• Exhibit expertise in the Splunk data platform, including advanced search query formulation and the establishment of monitoring and alerting mechanisms for failures.

• Configure the security settings of the IBM API Connect product utilizing TLS Profiles and native oAuth2 mechanisms to maintain a secure operational environment.

• Apply necessary product maintenance patches, interim releases, and upgrades as required.

• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge in understanding requirements, designing solutions, and delivering high-quality results in accordance with market-driven standards using IBM AppConnectEnterprise and IBM API Connect products.

• Experience in the installation, configuration, deployment, administration, and monitoring of IBM API Connect in Cloud and On-Premises Virtual Machines.

• Ability to monitor the health of the IBM API Connect environment to ensure the performance and availability of APIs.

• Participate and lead as necessary in incident resolution calls to assist in root cause analysis of issues.

• Proficient in analyzing logs to identify problems within the IBM API Connect environment.

• Capable of configuring and implementing backup and restoration processes for IBM API Connect subsystems.

• Experience in backing up and restoring IBM API Connect configuration data.

• Maintain the CI/CD pipeline for building and deploying APIs in IBM API Connect.
