This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Define and enhance Affirmβs career philosophy, establishing a clear and cohesive framework for employee growth, skill development, and career navigation across the organization.
β’ Design enterprise-wide career frameworks and practices, which include internal mobility, career pathing, and tools that foster more transparent and consistent talent decisions.
β’ Create forward-thinking talent strategies that align career advancement with evolving business capabilities, workforce planning, and the long-term needs of the organization.
β’ Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to foster alignment on complex talent issues, influencing decisions through insights, sound judgment, and well-considered recommendations.
β’ Develop and implement mechanisms (such as success profiles and related frameworks) that clarify growth expectations and support more consistent approaches to development and talent decisions.
β’ Lead intentional change management strategies that assist leaders and employees in adopting new perspectives on careers, growth, and mobility at Affirm.
β’ Demonstrated experience in designing and evolving enterprise talent strategies related to careers, internal mobility, career frameworks, workforce capability planning, or organizational growth.
β’ Proven ability to influence and build consensus with senior and executive leaders on complex and evolving talent topics.
β’ Strong strategic and conceptual thinking abilities, with a talent for bringing clarity and structure to ambiguous challenges and translating ideas into scalable solutions.
β’ Experience in leading organization-wide change initiatives, including the introduction of thoughtful, iterative approaches that balance long-term vision with organizational readiness and acceptance.
β’ Excellent organizational judgment and problem-solving skills, capable of navigating competing priorities and making well-considered, balanced recommendations.
β’ Ability to effectively engage with cross-functional partners and stakeholders, building trust and momentum in complex environments.
