This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
β’ Act as the main HR liaison for GEO employees and client representatives, delivering legally compliant and professional assistance throughout the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding.
β’ Provide guidance to clients on performance management, promotions, career advancement, and compensation benchmarking.
β’ Assist Embedded (reseller) and HR Consulting clients with customized HR advice and solutions, utilizing a consultative approach to proactively identify needs and deliver strategic HR support.
β’ Create and manage all types of employment contracts (new hires, terminations, extensions, transfers) to ensure legal compliance, while preparing and overseeing HR documentation including confirmations, title/salary adjustments, probation extensions, and renewals, as well as monitoring key dates such as probation periods and contract expirations for timely intervention.
β’ Ensure continuous adherence to local labor laws, GDPR, and internal controls by maintaining and regularly updating HR policies, employee handbooks, and process documentation.
β’ Facilitate work permit processes (applications, renewals, cancellations, documentation) in cooperation with legal/immigration partners, proactively identifying legal, compliance, or operational risks and escalating complex employee relations or legal issues to senior HR leadership or legal counsel when necessary.
β’ Collaborate with payroll and benefits providers to ensure precise and timely compensation and benefits administration, overseeing monthly payroll cycles, tax submissions, and social security filings with local vendors.
β’ Produce monthly HR reports and address internal or client ad hoc data requests, ensuring accurate employee records in accordance with audit and data retention requirements, while supporting HR audits and client due diligence procedures.
β’ Lead and support HR initiatives such as employee transitions, organizational changes, and terminations, while identifying process inefficiencies, proposing solutions, and implementing enhancements to optimize service delivery and mitigate compliance risks.
β’ Deliver coaching and everyday HR assistance to client managers and internal stakeholders, collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure cohesive HR operations, and contributing to global and local HR initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
β’ Foster a positive employee experience through effective onboarding, regular check-ins, and offboarding, aiding engagement initiatives, including satisfaction surveys and feedback loops, and serving as an escalation point for employee issues, grievances, and conflict resolution with prompt and appropriate action.
β’ Stay updated on employment law changes and HR compliance obligations in supported countries, researching and implementing HR best practices to enhance client and worker experiences.
β’ 4-6 years of demonstrated experience in HR management or HR business partnering, ideally in an international or Employer of Record (EOR) environment.
β’ Strong understanding of local and international labor laws, employment practices, and HR compliance, with a preference for UK & Ireland experience.
β’ Experience managing TUPE transfers.
β’ Proficient in advising on complex Employment Relations issues.
β’ Familiarity with global HRIS platforms and HR tools.
β’ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
β’ Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
β’ Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex issues and make data-driven recommendations.
