Senior Manager – Strategy & IT Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop the future strategy of SAP Fioneer within the Financial Services sector through co-innovation initiatives alongside our clients.

• Establish our Business Value Proposition tailored for leading banks and insurance companies.

• Bring a high level of expertise and credibility to our projects and business development endeavors.

• Analyze and engage with the C-Level executives of our key clients to assist them in actively shaping their transformation journey, collaboratively designing new solutions, and expanding the SAP Fioneer product offerings and services among these clients.

• Take full responsibility for managing intricate transformation projects, including relevant co-innovation initiatives with our key clients, from start to finish at the intersection of business and IT – encompassing negotiation and management of joint delivery with partners.

• Lead and work with multi-disciplinary teams to tackle client challenges and achieve results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in successfully designing and/or executing large-scale digital innovation and transformation projects for banks or insurance companies within international strategy (IT) consultancies, financial services, or related domains.

• Experience in managing multiple internal and external stakeholders, including third parties, with expertise in one of the following areas: core banking and payments, lending, bank management (including risk), or insurance finance.

• Ability to proactively engage and discuss new solutions with a diverse range of stakeholders, such as C-level management, sales teams, and product engineering departments, while leading and guiding a motivated team.

• Demonstrated contributions to the sales of digital transformation projects at major banks or insurers and a robust network within the Financial Services sector.

• Strong analytical skills and the capability to distill complex information into actionable insights.

• A high level of intellectual curiosity, paired with a passion for financial markets and business strategy.

• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.

• Proficiency in both English and German.

• Master's degree in business administration, mathematics, commerce, or a STEM field.
