This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Transform intricate healthcare data into clear strategic guidance for the Advanced Surgery division.
• Spearhead market intelligence efforts, forecasting, and competitive analysis.
• Influence how the division perceives its markets and identifies future opportunities.
• Oversee annual global market sizing and forecasting, collaborating with regional teams and aligning assumptions with Finance.
• Provide biannual analyses of market share and competitive landscape to aid in portfolio and long-range planning.
• Manage quarterly reporting on U.S. market size and growth by integrating data from SG2, IQVIA, DRG, Premier, and internal performance metrics.
• Engage in Premier analytics to comprehend procedural trends, product usage, and specialty-level dynamics.
• Convert complex data into concise, executive-level insights and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
• Assist with M&A, licensing, and partnership evaluations through market sizing, competitive analysis, and scenario modeling.
• Create compelling narratives and present findings to cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, R&D, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, and Commercial.
• Proven experience in analyzing healthcare or medical device datasets such as Premier, SG2, DRG, IQVIA, or other similar claims and utilization sources.
• Strong proficiency in Excel for modeling, forecasting, and market sizing.
• Practical experience with SAS, R, or SPSS; as well as SQL or Python.
• Knowledge of medical coding, procedure-based analytics, and claims or charge-level data.
• A demonstrated ability to distill complex analyses into clear strategic insights for executive audiences.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to influence across various functions and levels.
• A proactive, intellectually curious mindset and the ability to work independently on highly visible, recurring tasks.
