This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Formulate strategies for cost savings within designated categories, including sourcing from third-party vendors and consolidating suppliers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend business objectives and create sourcing pipelines along with supplier strategies.
• Evaluate industry trends, pricing structures, competitive landscape, supplier optimization, and market pressures.
• Spearhead negotiations for new supplier contracts and renegotiations to attain the lowest total cost of ownership and savings targets.
• Assess, manage, and enhance supplier performance in accordance with agreed-upon SLAs.
• Facilitate RFI and RFP processes, overseeing proposal evaluations, business awards, and finalizing contracts.
• Persuade internal stakeholders to maximize value, manage costs, and enhance vendor performance.
• Provide support across various categories such as professional services, HR and benefits, real estate and workplace, legal services, software, cloud solutions, events, and travel.
• Execute complex source-to-pay enhancement projects along with other improvement initiatives.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or Operations, accompanied by over 7 years of experience in a senior procurement position.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing category strategies that yield savings.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex and high-stakes buy-side contracts.
• Robust analytical and financial skills, including the creation of operational metric dashboards, financial analysis, and spend data management.
• Familiarity with top-tier procurement processes such as category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auctions, and contracting methodologies.
• Established history of tracking KPIs, creating scorecards and reports, and leading Quarterly Business Review processes.
• Profound understanding of contract terminology and conditions, including the structuring and drafting of MSAs, DPAs, maintenance agreements, and service orders.
• Exceptional communication skills and executive presence; highly organized.
• Proven success in cross-functional leadership, collaboration, and relationship management.
• Experience in structuring and negotiating commercial models, including usage-based pricing, fixed-fee arrangements, variable tiering, and performance-incentivized frameworks.
• Master’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or Operations (preferred).
• Familiarity with Oracle, Ironclad, and Oracle procurement and ERP systems for vendor spend management (preferred).
