Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete procurement process for all Open Systems and Cloud client projects, including quotes, renewals, maintenance, asset management, cloud usage, and partner programs.

• Cultivate, lead, and retain a high-performing pod team that holds clear accountability for revenue-generating results within the Open Systems sector.

• Collaborate with executive and senior stakeholders, serving as a trusted commercial advisor on sourcing strategies, supplier risk, and deal economics.

• Spearhead intricate deal pursuits for Open Systems and Cloud opportunities, overseeing bid strategy, pricing, and margin optimization throughout the process.

• Coordinate with the Vendor Management Office to ensure governance, supplier compliance, and the integrity of contracts and entitlements.

• Monitor and report on pod-level KPIs, including cycle time, savings, deal velocity, and throughput.

• Continuously assess and enhance the stakeholder experience for internal sales, solutioning, and client-facing partners, ensuring the pod consistently meets business requirements with quality and speed.

• Discover opportunities for cost optimization, innovation, and process enhancement; contribute to the leadership pipeline and succession planning within the Procurement organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree with at least 10+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain management.

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in leading and managing teams within a sourcing or procurement environment.

• Demonstrated experience in supporting complex, high-value IT deals and enterprise sourcing initiatives.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills at the executive level.

• Proven capability to function effectively in a matrixed, fast-paced, growth-oriented setting.
