Purchasing Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture relationships with suppliers, ensuring their accountability.

• Focus on underperforming suppliers (in terms of on-time delivery and responsiveness) and create root cause analysis and performance enhancement strategies.

• Lead the strategy and implementation of delivery processes at designated suppliers, including Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) or direct shipments.

• Detect and mitigate input material risks by conducting raw material assessments with assigned suppliers (e.g., electronic component risks for PCBA suppliers).

• Utilize proactive risk identification methods to monitor deliveries.

• Collaborate with functional experts to address issues before they affect internal customers.

• Conduct regular visits to suppliers on-site.

• Assess capacity risks at suppliers and work with BV (GE partner) to coordinate mitigation strategies, collaborating with suppliers to execute capacity plans.

• Resolve logistics challenges to guarantee successful delivery outcomes for clients.

• Communicate promptly, clearly, and effectively with key stakeholders across various leadership levels.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED.

• Extensive experience in Sourcing, Supplier Management, or Supply Chain Manufacturing and Operations.

• Proficient in English and French languages.
