Senior Manager, Strategic Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the rhythm of ELT meetings, town halls, offsites, and annual planning by managing agendas, materials, follow-ups, and tracking action items.

• Propel CEO and organizational priorities to fruition through proactive coordination and follow-up efforts.

• Design and oversee the quarterly business review (QBR) process across the organization — standardizing the format, frequency, and inputs while coordinating each function to ensure reviews are consistent and aligned with company objectives.

• Manage materials and logistics for board meetings and related gatherings.

• Collaborate with the CEO and ELT to convert strategic priorities into actionable plans with designated owners and timelines.

• Spearhead cross-functional strategic programs (such as product launches, M&A integration, and go-to-market initiatives) and company projects from initiation to delivery.

• Monitor progress towards company-wide goals, collaborating across the business to highlight risks, dependencies, and decisions requiring executive attention.

• Develop an OKR system from the corporate level down through various functions, driving its adoption among leadership.

• Establish systems and reporting that provide leadership with real-time insights into priorities, commitments, and decisions — enhancing meeting efficiency and accountability.

• Identify and address process bottlenecks that impede execution across teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy, business operations, program management, or consulting, preferably within a SaaS or high-growth tech environment.

• Proven history of leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable results, rather than merely coordinating them.

• Highly detail-oriented — ensures nothing is overlooked; identifies gaps in materials and holds all open commitments to resolution.

• Structured thinker who brings clarity to ambiguity — breaks down broad priorities into specific workstreams with assigned owners and timelines.

• High energy and perseverance — self-motivated, resourceful, and tenacious in follow-through; takes full ownership of outcomes without needing prompting.

• Excellent executive communication and relationship-building skills — adept at preparing board-ready materials, advising senior leaders, and collaborating across various teams and leadership styles.

• Sound judgment when handling confidential information — understands when to escalate issues and when to operate independently.

• Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• Comfortable with ambiguity — this position will be shaped in part by your contributions.

• Preferred: MBA or an equivalent advanced degree.

• Experience in regulated, scientific, or vertical SaaS industries — aligns with STARLIMS's customer base.

• Proficient with modern productivity, data analysis, and AI tools, with a discerning approach to accuracy and responsible usage of AI-generated content.
