Senior Manager, Strategic Product Adoption

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• The Senior Manager, Strategic Product Adoption is tasked with facilitating strategic growth in the utilization of multiproduct and program offerings (including FYA, Transfer, Direct Admissions, and Data Analytics and Benchmarking tools) among our members, in collaboration with the Member Service team.

• This position acts as the main spokesperson and subject matter expert (SME) for various programs and services during stakeholder webinars, presentations, and conferences.

• The individual in this position will concentrate on the primary goal of strategizing and enhancing the use of multi-product and program offerings.

• Working closely with the Director of Member Services, they will serve as a link between product strategy and marketing to ensure that our offerings align with the needs, interests, and priorities of our members.

• Additionally, they will be responsible for advocating for the understanding and utilization of Common App and its products and services among enrollment consulting firms that support our membership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must reside in the United States.

• Must be willing to travel to participate in the biannual Common App Retreat.

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Education, Communications, or a related field from an accredited four-year institution; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 5-8 years of proven, progressive experience in enrollment or admissions, communications, account management, or customer service roles.

• 2-4 years of experience in a managerial position.

• Familiarity with the higher education admissions cycle and the needs of member institutions.

• Experience with Common App products, systems, tools, and resources.

• Knowledge of best practices in account management and customer service.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present information and address inquiries from diverse audiences, both internal and external, in a clear and positive manner.

• Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and processes concurrently in a collaborative team setting.

• Demonstrates the capacity to achieve objectives by employing flexible thinking, creative problem-solving, analytical reasoning, and sound judgment to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as required. Ability to guide teams through organizational changes and transformations.

• Successfully builds and nurtures relationships with key stakeholders by proactively engaging, understanding their priorities, and collaborating to fulfill organizational goals.

• Cultivates a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

• Exhibits mastery of core technical skills and applies them effectively.

• Assesses challenges, identifies trends, and proposes inventive solutions.

• Proven ability to meet or exceed established service goals and performance metrics.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Acuity Scheduling, and Google Suite.

• Demonstrated capability to coach or mentor team members to enhance team effectiveness.

• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
