Senior Manager, Strategic Planning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development of the organization's strategic direction, with an emphasis on growth, performance, and long-term value creation in the Behavioral Health sector.

• Collaborate with senior leaders to define and progress strategic priorities.

• Create materials suitable for executives and facilitate the decision-making process.

• Assess new business opportunities, encompassing partnerships, new products, and strategic investments.

• Formulate business cases through systematic analysis.

• Lead and support strategic initiatives from their conception through to execution.

• Ensure alignment, momentum, and quantifiable outcomes across various initiatives.

• Analyze market trends, internal performance, and stakeholder insights to pinpoint opportunities and risks.

• Evaluate competitive positioning and the evolving dynamics of the industry.

• Perform financial and operational analyses, including revenue implications, cost drivers, and utilization trends.

• Work collaboratively across functions with clinical, product, network, and operations teams.

• Engage in a high-visibility portfolio of projects with frequent exposure to executive leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in strategy, consulting, product management, healthcare, or a related field.

• Strong strategic thinking abilities and structured problem-solving skills.

• Capability to convert complex information into clear, actionable insights.

• Proven track record of managing and executing multiple priorities and workstreams.

• Excellent communication skills with experience in engaging senior stakeholders.

• Collaborative approach and ability to work across functions and influence others without direct authority.

• Demonstrated interest in healthcare, particularly in Behavioral Health.

• Expertise in financial analysis and the development of business cases.

• Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree such as an MBA or MPH is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
