This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Lead special projects from inception to completion with full ownership and autonomy, while also assisting the Chief of Staff with broader initiatives as required.
• Enhance organizational efficiency, health, and team performance by identifying gaps and designing appropriate systems to address them.
• Manage cross-functional strategy and insights projects, overseeing everything from scoping to synthesis and executive recommendations.
• Aid in board preparation, OKR reviews, and regular leadership meetings, ensuring the CEO and leadership team are consistently aligned and well-prepared.
• Identify operational deficiencies throughout the organization and create structured solutions to mitigate them.
• Lead and support cross-functional initiatives, providing necessary structure, momentum, and clear ownership at each phase.
• Act as a connective resource among teams, ensuring that critical priorities and dependencies are tracked and executed effectively.
• Discover opportunities to incorporate AI and emerging tools into existing workflows, taking the lead on direct implementation rather than merely providing recommendations.
• Oversee the CEO's administrative operations, including inbox and calendar management, to ensure her time and attention are effectively protected and allocated.
• Establish and continually refine processes within the Office of the CEO to support both the CEO and the wider leadership team.
• Maintain adequate organizational context to anticipate needs and proactively lessen the CEO's operational burden.
• 2-4 years of experience in management consulting or a similarly structured, rigorous environment; equivalent experience in strategy, business operations, or a high-growth startup will also be considered.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities, with the skill to quickly structure complex issues and convey findings clearly to Senior Leadership.
• Quickly internalizes brand standards and applies them consistently and judiciously across communications, projects, and deliverables.
• A genuine passion for sustainability, plastic waste reduction, and Blueland's mission.
• Exhibits executive presence and can operate effectively at the highest levels of an organization.
• Thinks beyond the immediate task, consistently seeking to build systems and processes that enhance future iterations.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of operating effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly adaptable, able to engage in a variety of tasks, from managing calendars to leading strategic initiatives.
• Actively and practically utilizes AI tools in daily work, with the capability to assist others in adopting them in meaningful ways.
