This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as a strategic liaison for Field Sales leadership while acting as a senior technical advocate for acquiring new logos and managing intricate prospect interactions.
• Maintain oversight of the new business pipeline, ensuring technical qualification, assessing competitive risks, evaluating deal quality, and ensuring forecast precision.
• Lead, recruit, mentor, and retain a high-achieving team of Field Solutions Engineers and Technical Advisors.
• Collaborate with Field Sales leadership to develop territory and account strategies.
• Provide senior technical guidance for complex new business initiatives and competitive displacement scenarios.
• Create and enhance enablement programs that encompass discovery, technical validation, demonstrations, PoCs, and executive engagements.
• Coordinate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to facilitate smooth transitions from pre-sales to post-sale adoption.
• Manage customer escalations during the pre-sales and early lifecycle stages.
• Ensure operational preparedness for product launches, competitive strategies, and go-to-market initiatives.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on metrics concerning new logo conversion, technical win rates, engagement quality, and customer outcomes.
• Offer customer insights, competitive intelligence, and field feedback to Product, R&D, and GTM teams.
• Influence partners and customers throughout the security journey to enhance TrendAI platform adoption.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, cloud, networking, systems engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Over 10 years in customer-facing technical roles, including Solutions Engineering, Presales, Technical Consulting, Professional Services, or Technical Account Management.
• At least 5 years of management experience leading field-based technical teams, including senior individual contributors.
• Experience ideally within a cybersecurity or SaaS platform organization.
• Proven track record of leading through influence, exercising sound judgment, and functioning effectively with executive autonomy.
• Experience in supporting new logo acquisition, navigating competitive sales cycles, and conducting technical validations for new customers.
• Strong expertise in technical team leadership, field execution, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales and GTM teams.
• Experience managing complex evaluations, handling objections, and addressing high-stakes customer and prospect situations.
• Ability to form, influence, and guide temporary or virtual cross-functional teams.
• Capability to build and sustain relationships with Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, HR, and Customer Success departments.
• Solid understanding of competitive cybersecurity platforms and enterprise purchasing dynamics.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with both technical and executive audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship, both currently and in the future.
• Preferred familiarity with XDR, SIEM, CSPM, CNAPP, cloud security, or advanced detection and response technologies.
• Preferred experience in executive briefings, architecture reviews, or security strategy workshops.
• Preferred understanding of frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI, and HIPAA.
• Preferred exposure to AI-driven security capabilities, automation, or applied AI/ML in cybersecurity workflows.
• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, CCSP, Security+, CySA+, CISA, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, and certifications in cloud security, Kubernetes, or DevSecOps.
