This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee the design of multiple large-scale operational solutions projects concurrently.
• Ensure timely project delivery in accordance with the DSV Solution Design and Rules of Engagement process.
• Engage directly with clients during the solution design and implementation planning phases.
• Evaluate customer Request for Proposal data, identify discrepancies, and establish assumptions.
• Direct the operational design for new business initiatives, including data gathering, facility layouts, process design, staffing, equipment specifications, budgeting, pricing, documentation, and proposal creation.
• Guarantee the accuracy and content of Solution Design responses.
• Coordinate with internal functional groups and stakeholders throughout the proposal development process.
• Create and deliver presentations for both internal and external clients.
• Offer project management and engineering support for implementations and operational improvements.
• Stay updated on supply chain industry trends, equipment innovations, technology, and operational best practices.
• Share industry knowledge, design best practices, and creative ideas with the Solutions team.
• Establish timelines and assign task ownership during the Request for Proposal response process.
• Manage multiple projects at once.
• Provide education, training, and development opportunities for Senior Solutions Engineers and Solutions Engineers.
• Assist in achieving stabilization objectives within the operations support team.
• Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in contract logistics warehousing and/or manufacturing support solutions design in third-party logistics or similar operational design and implementation roles.
• Experience in solutions design and/or operations management across Hi-Tech, Auto, Industrial, Healthcare, Retail, and/or FMCG sectors.
• Comprehensive understanding of warehouse operations, data mining/data analysis, P&L analysis, return calculations, and pricing strategies.
• Strong commercial insight and experience in developing diverse pricing structures, including fixed/variable, fully variable, and cost-plus models.
• Familiarity with market competitive pricing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to work independently without requiring detailed supervision.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
• Capability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand for several hours each day.
• Competence in lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing.
• Willingness to travel by plane and/or automobile.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Expected base salary range of $140,000.00–$170,000.00 annually.
