Senior Manager – Solution Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

• Lead a team of engineers to deliver an exceptional member experience.

• Work collaboratively with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions.

• Recruit, manage, mentor, and retain a high-performing engineering workforce.

• Oversee and enhance both team and system performance.

• Define KPIs and OKRs for insightful quantitative analysis.

• Steer the team's work prioritization to align with strategic goals.

• Collaborate closely with technical teams to grasp expectations and create solutions.

• Identify, communicate, and proactively manage internal and external risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of IT experience with a strong emphasis on engineering and software development.

• More than 5 years of practical cloud development experience in GCP or any public/local cloud, including application construction using Java frameworks.

• At least 1 year of experience utilizing generative AI as an integrated part of software solutions.

• Extensive experience with Angular, API platforms, and full end-to-end development cycles.

• Solid understanding of cloud-based technologies (RKE, GCP), engineering frameworks, and tools.

• Ability to diagram complex software architectures and convey intricate engineering concepts to non-technical stakeholders both visually and verbally.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, cloud DevOps, containers (Kubernetes/Docker, etc.), and GCP managed services.

• Experience with large pharmacy systems is a plus.
