Senior Manager, Software Engineering – Micro Frontend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee front-end engineering teams to create high-quality web applications.

• Establish and advance the front-end architecture strategy utilizing Angular or React along with Microfrontend architecture.

• Collaborate effectively with product managers, architects, UX designers, and backend teams.

• Develop and advocate for reusable UI components, shared libraries, and design standards across various teams.

• Supervise the implementation of modular, independently deployable front-end applications.

• Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, security, performance optimization, and accessibility.

• Mentor teams in CI/CD implementation, release management, and DevOps integration for front-end applications.

• Perform architecture and code reviews while mentoring engineering managers, team leads, and developers.

• Promote engineering excellence through agile methodologies, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of experience in software development with a focus on front-end engineering.

• At least 3 years of experience in engineering leadership or people management.

• Proficient hands-on experience with Angular and/or React.

• Experience in designing and implementing Microfrontend architecture within enterprise applications.

• Thorough knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and principles of responsive design.

• Familiarity with component-driven development and modern front-end build tools.

• Strong understanding of REST APIs, API integration, authentication, and best practices in web security.

• Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
