Senior Manager, Software Engineering – Data Platform, AI Enablement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee engineering teams tasked with data ingestion, pipeline development, datalake integration, Data APIs, access permissions, and data interface management.

• Take ownership of execution and technical leadership within Rockerbox’s data infrastructure and client-facing data access systems.

• Guarantee dependable, prompt, and scalable delivery of client data.

• Coordinate ingestion, aggregation, API access, permissions, and AI-enhanced data workflows with clear accountability.

• Collaborate with Product, Applications, Integrations, Data Science, Customer Success, and DV stakeholders to shape platform strategy.

• Empower internal teams and clients to interact with Rockerbox data via APIs, CLI tools, and forthcoming agentic workflows.

• Enhance team productivity through automation, decreased maintenance demands, and clearer accountability.

• Manage, nurture, and retain engineering talent during a time of organizational change.

• Alleviate bottlenecks among Data, Applications, and customer-centric product development.

• Proven experience in managing engineering teams focused on data platforms, pipelines, APIs, or infrastructure.

• Strong technical insight in areas of data architecture, data reliability, and application-oriented access patterns.

• Demonstrated capability to spearhead cross-functional initiatives across Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Customer Success.

• A history of delivering platform enhancements that yield measurable business benefits.

• Ability to function at a broader organizational level beyond a single functional team.
