This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Shopper Marketing Senior Manager acts as the essential bridge between brand strategy and retail implementation.
• Accountable for transforming brand campaigns, creative materials, and marketing strategies into effective shopper-facing initiatives within retail settings.
• Collaborate with Sales, Brand Marketing, Creative, and Retail Partners to formulate and execute strategies that elevate brand visibility.
• Oversee and manage the shopper marketing budget, which includes forecasting, retailer allocation, activation types, invoice processing, and financial reconciliation.
• Create shopper-oriented retail marketing materials such as brand stores, in-store signage, shelf talkers, displays, endcaps, FSIs, seasonal campaigns, and digital retail assets.
• Direct the implementation of promotional programs, point-of-sale materials, retail events, and activation strategies in collaboration with Sales and Creative teams.
• Generate category insights, selling resources, and brand value proposition materials that bolster sales growth and retailer engagement.
• A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in shopper marketing, trade marketing, brand marketing, retail marketing, or a relevant discipline.
• Proven experience supporting retail sales organizations and executing customer-facing marketing initiatives.
• Background in the pet food, consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, or similar industries is preferred.
• Experience in managing retailer-specific marketing programs and collaborating on joint business planning initiatives.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities at once.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing marketing programs that lead to measurable business outcomes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing project management tools.
• Strong comprehension of retail marketing, shopper behavior, and consumer conversion strategies.
• This position requires approximately one trip per month and includes travel to Joint Business Planning meetings with key retailers twice a year.
• Participation in two national trade shows and one consumer event each year.
• Quarterly ride-alongs with field sales representatives.
