This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• You will serve as the representative for CloudLinux and Imunify within the WordPress community. Your role involves establishing and nurturing relationships with WordPress media publishers, newsletter authors, podcast hosts, leaders in the agency community, and key influencers within the ecosystem; attending and showcasing our presence at WordCamps, CloudFest, and other pertinent events.
• You will be responsible for the go-to-market (GTM) strategy aimed at expanding our presence in this market: identifying priority segments, determining investment channels, and sequencing the program as we transition from minimal brand recognition to a significant presence. This involves defining the GTM roadmap, aligning with product and sales teams, and taking ownership of the outcomes. Additionally, you will shape the positioning and commercial narrative for products targeted at the WordPress audience, creating enablement materials for sales and channel partners.
• As our roadmap for WordPress-related products evolves, you will lead product launches within this sector.
• You will articulate the strategy, develop the content framework, and guide web development and design resources to create and enhance it as a live channel. Post-launch, you will also be responsible for driving momentum for this property (with the assistance of contractors).
• You will formulate a strategy for sponsorship and editorial placements, manage negotiations, and oversee ongoing relationships with major WordPress media outlets (such as Post Status, MasterWP, WP Weekly, and podcast networks) where our target audience is predominantly present.
• You will lead the content strategy tailored for the WordPress audience. While you may personally create some content, primarily you will guide and direct content writers on their assignments. You will take ownership of our annual WordPress/hosting industry report, a collaborative research publication with our key partner that reaches thousands of agencies. You will oversee every aspect of the report: the research questions, narrative crafting, launch campaign, and media placements.
• You will manage the production of customer success stories from the agency and hosting provider sectors: from identifying suitable candidates through your ecosystem connections, conducting interviews, to shaping the final narrative. You will carry out the interviews, extract engaging insights, and collaborate with the team to produce the final asset and promotional package.
• **This role requires the following:**
• - **Strong presence in the WordPress ecosystem:** You have experience working in, alongside, or for the WordPress market. You are well-versed in the media landscape (who publishes what, who is credible), the agency business model (how agencies generate revenue, how they assess tools, what attributes make a vendor trustworthy), and community dynamics (WordCamp culture, decision-making processes, what type of brand presence earns respect versus skepticism). This cannot be fabricated, and we will gauge your knowledge in the initial interview.
• - **B2B SaaS marketing experience:** You possess over 5 years in B2B software marketing, including product marketing, ecosystem marketing, developer marketing, or a closely related role. You understand how to construct a GTM strategy: audience identification, positioning, channel strategy, enablement, and performance measurement. You have led a market or segment rather than merely contributing.
• - **Proven ownership of content strategy with published results:** You can create a flagship thought leadership article, an engaging product narrative, and a succinct event brief. You understand the distinct requirements for each type of content. Ideally, you have published work related to WordPress topics that we can review.
• **In addition to the hard requirements, we are also seeking:**
• - Comfort with ambiguity and market development. This is not an optimization role; there is no existing program to improve. You will be building from the ground up and making informed decisions with incomplete information.
• - A proactive attitude. You identify what you need, ask for it, and take initiative. You do not wait for a comprehensive brief.
• - A genuine interest in the hosting and WordPress security/performance sectors. The audiences we serve — hosting providers and agencies — face real operational challenges. We seek someone who understands these challenges with genuine curiosity rather than superficial knowledge.
• - Cross-functional credibility. You will collaborate with product, sales, and external partners. It is essential to align teams across the board to achieve results.
• - Experience in security, performance, or infrastructure software marketing.
• - Direct involvement with hosting industry events such as CloudFest, HostingCon, and WordCamps.
• **Success in the first year looks like:**
• - Successfully launching the agency-focused digital property, complete with an initial content library and an effective lead generation process.
• - Establishing at least two ongoing media sponsorships within the WordPress ecosystem.
• - Representing CloudLinux at two or more WordCamps or WordPress industry events, generating measurable outputs such as contacts, coverage, and content.
• - Publishing at least four flagship content pieces distributed across owned and paid channels, resulting in measurable engagement from target audiences.
• - Creating a partner enablement kit that is actively utilized by sales and channel partners.
• - Defining a scalable content and channel operating model that can grow alongside the team.
• **What’s in it for you?**
• - A commitment to professional development.
• - Engaging and challenging projects.
• - Fully remote work with flexible hours, allowing you to organize your day and work from any location worldwide.
• - Paid 24 days of vacation annually, 10 national holidays, and unlimited sick leave.
• - Coverage for private medical insurance.
• - Reimbursement for co-working spaces and gym/sports activities.
• - Budget allocated for educational pursuits.
• - The chance to earn a reward for the most innovative idea that the company can patent.
• By applying for this position, you consent to the processing of your personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy (https://cloudlinux.com/candidate-privacy-notice), which provides detailed information on how we manage and handle your data.
