This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Drive the SEM strategy and implementation across various client accounts, primarily utilizing Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
• Convert client business needs, demand generation, and revenue objectives into effective paid search strategies, campaign frameworks, testing timelines, and quantifiable KPIs.
• Supervise campaign architecture, account organization, keyword strategy, audience targeting, bidding tactics, creative testing, and continuous optimization.
• Manage and project SEM budgets across accounts while monitoring pacing, allocation, CPA, ROAS, pipeline, revenue, conversion volume, and efficiency benchmarks.
• Guide optimization and testing initiatives across automated bidding, keyword expansion, audience segmentation, ad copy, landing pages, campaign organization, and new platform capabilities.
• Leverage automation, AI-driven platform features, and advanced bidding approaches to enhance campaign efficiency and scalability.
• Evaluate performance trends and convert campaign data into insights, recommendations, and optimization plans.
• Collaborate with analytics teams on conversion tracking, attribution, reporting, and downstream pipeline or revenue assessment.
• Work alongside strategy, creative, CRM, marketing automation, and additional media teams to seamlessly integrate SEM into demand generation and market entry programs.
• Discover opportunities to broaden SEM initiatives through new campaign types, audiences, platforms, testing methodologies, and complementary media channels.
• Act as a senior day-to-day SEM liaison for clients, leading performance discussions and providing recommendations.
• Ensure that campaign setup, tracking, tagging, reporting, and optimization processes adhere to quality standards.
• Mentor and support SEM team members through workload management, campaign evaluations, coaching, feedback, and skill enhancement.
• Enhance workflows, documentation, quality assurance, and processes for scalable SEM execution.
• Contribute SEM strategies, audits, forecasts, and recommendations to new business proposals, renewals, and account growth opportunities.
• Identify chances to expand existing client relationships.
• 5+ years of SEM / paid search expertise, including the management of complex campaigns and multiple client accounts.
• Proven B2B SEM experience.
• Advanced practical knowledge of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
• Experience in formulating paid search strategies linked to leads, pipeline, revenue, CPA, and ROAS.
• Background in managing substantial paid search budgets, predicting expenditure and performance, and making data-informed allocation suggestions.
• Strong grasp of conversion tracking, attribution, tagging, and performance analysis.
• Familiarity with GA4 and Google Tag Manager.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience in developing and leading structured testing initiatives.
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience in an agency or client-service setting, managing multiple priorities.
• Experience in mentoring, reviewing, or supervising junior and mid-level SEM team members.
• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience collaborating with analytics, creative, strategy, CRM, marketing automation, and account teams.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and downstream lead, pipeline, or revenue measurement.
• Experience with landing page optimization and principles of conversion rate optimization.
• Google Ads certification is preferred.
• Experience contributing to new business pitches, account growth strategies, or client planning is preferred.
• Must have eligibility to work in the United States or Canada without requiring visa sponsorship.
