This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee and enhance the performance of a team comprising vulnerability analysts and security engineers.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, performance evaluations, and career growth opportunities for team members.
• Guarantee the consistent and high-quality delivery of security services across various client accounts.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for operational issues related to client-facing deliveries.
• Manage daily operations involving scanning, triage, ticketing, remediation coordination, and validation.
• Ensure effective utilization of tools to support consistent and repeatable processes.
• Monitor adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) regarding remediation timelines.
• Conduct regular operational reviews to assess backlog, current risk posture, and forthcoming changes.
• Act as the main operational contact for vulnerability management within assigned business units.
• Over 10 years of comprehensive experience in IT and security.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in security operations, vulnerability management, or similar fields.
• 4 to 6 years of managerial experience overseeing technical teams.
• Practical experience with multiple vulnerability scanning platforms.
• Familiarity with endpoint and patch management tools.
• Expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) and/or ServiceNow Vulnerability Response.
• Deep understanding of vulnerability lifecycle management, risk-based prioritization, patch management, and secure configuration practices.
• Capable of converting vulnerability and risk data into clear, actionable tasks.
