This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the design and execution of scientific communication initiatives.
• Actively prioritize, identify, evaluate, and succinctly summarize pertinent scientific and medical literature.
• Analyze, evaluate, and convey the potential implications of significant findings to internal stakeholders.
• Interpret research outcomes and partner with healthcare professionals to create scientific communication materials.
• Initiate on-demand data analysis of clinical datasets.
• Lead coverage of major relevant medical and scientific conferences.
• Perform literature reviews to respond to both internal and external medical information inquiries.
• Contribute to the formulation of the Global strategy for medical/scientific presentations and publication initiatives.
• Foster and maintain robust relationships with key academic institutions, physicians, KOLs, hospitals, scientific societies, and associations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or equivalent work experience according to Edwards criteria.
• Master’s degree accompanied by 8 years of related experience within the clinical, research, or healthcare sectors or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria.
• Certification in a relevant discipline.
• Experience within a large manufacturing organization or comparable work experience based on Edwards criteria.
• Proficient in scientific/medical conference proceedings and manuscript publication in leading scientific journals.
• Strong scientific knowledge.
• In-depth understanding of ACCME, AdvaMed, EUcomed, FDA, and ISO regulations.
• Exceptional leadership abilities.
• Demonstrated successful project management capabilities.
• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel.
• Outstanding presentation and facilitation abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong interpersonal relationship skills.
