Senior Manager, Sales Execution

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Act as the lead or shadow architect for major and intricate partner and customer projects.

• Responsible for the team’s services pipeline targets from start to finish, ensuring accurate weekly forecasts from generation to qualification and handoff.

• Serve as a mentor, fostering the development of Senior Sales Engineers through deal reviews, ride-alongs, post-mortems, and direct technical leadership.

• Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager as a revenue partner, jointly managing the SE/Seller pairing model, pipeline-to-close conversion, and deal velocity.

• Oversee the quality of technical presales by establishing and enforcing architectural standards, validating SOWs and presales assumptions, and acting as an escalation point for complex or high-risk deals.

• Implement best-practice frameworks, grounding engagements in AWS and Microsoft Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Frameworks.


⛳️ Requirements

• A four-year college degree is required (or equivalent relevant experience in a related field).

• At least 5 years of functional experience, including a minimum of 4 years in a position-specific role and 2 years of supervisory experience, or 4 years of leadership experience.

• Preferred: Over 10 years of experience in cloud solutions architecture, sales engineering, or technical consulting.

• Proven track record as a Senior Sales Engineer or in a comparable senior technical position.

• Preferred but not mandatory: Current senior certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional and/or Azure Solutions Architect Expert).

• History of leading a revenue-generating technical team in a partner-led or channel-focused setting.

• Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain senior technical talent.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.
